Could you do with some support? We have regular meetings and socials.
Adults with dyslexia benefit from:
*an informal, relaxed environment where members can discuss difficulties with other members that understand
*building positive friendships with other members
*sharing information and experiential knowledge
*pooling of coping strategies
*activities
*regular socials
*support with education and study strategies
*support with employment
*sign posting to other resources of support
*Guest Speakers
We were recently interviewed by Helen Astle from the BBC!
We ask for a donation of £2 to cover the cost of the room and refreshments at the meeting. We are a local community organisation.
Can't attend a meeting? Don't worry, our website is a social networking site, you can talk to our members anytime. Feel free to Introduce Yourself to the group, or write what's on your mind in a blog.
Need to talk? We understand that attending a group meeting for the first time can be a daunting experience if you are not feeling very confident. We often meet people for coffee for a relaxed chat about dyslexia and our group.
